PEOPLE FROM PALILULA URGENTLY NEED HELP!

Due to the heavy snowfalls that have taken the entire territory of the municipality, the management of Palilula sent a request to the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia-Government - Emergency Niš to help vulnerable people-old people and single households and also large families living in a completely snowed-inaccessible areas Palilula. Much of these rural areas are cut off from Palilula and the City of Nis and in many villages and settlements there has been a power failure, interruption of telephone traffic and many residents were left without basic food items.

According to Mayor PhD Igor Novakovic, at the moment, as a prevention it is necessary to ensure vulnerable population of Palilula with 200-300 blankets and 300-350 packages of basic foodstuffs. Palilula Municipality has reached an agreement with private socially responsible companies that want to give their human resources and all their machinery suitable for cleaning and removal of avalanches, to assist in cleaning the roads in areas snowed and make them passable. For mentioned machinery could be used it is necessary to provide necessary fuel diesel-D2 and euro-diesel in the amount of 5000L-5500l. Municipal Administration also provided the work of Palilula Contact Centre - INFO 48 for 24 hours.
